"Depth is Our Strength" as young talent strengthens 2025EF-Oatly-Cannondale to support Faulkner, Jackson and Roy

EF-Oatly-Cannondale confirmed that Olympic champion Kristen Faulkner and former Paris-Roubaix winner Alison Jackson will return to anchor the team's grand tour and one-day racing aspirations in 2025 to field a roster of 17 riders for their second season at continental level. It was a great experience.

Veteran Sarah Roy, who turns 2 on May 39, moves from Cofids to contribute as a road captain. The former Australian road champion looks to influence the spring classic and lead a strong contingent of young riders in stage races.

Half of the team entered the second season of the EF-Oatly team under the age of 24, including rookie Cedrine Kelvaor, who won the 2024 Tour de France with 6 wins, ahead of Marianne Voss (Visma-Lease A Bike).

"This is my dream roster because we have a really young group as well as a really experienced group. The team is a combination of character and nationality, strengths, and all these women are open to learning," Team General Manager Esratromp said in a press release

"Our team includes a variety of characters and we want to balance our strength on both bikes and bikes." We have a lot of people who are interested in our products. I'm really excited about all the races this next season. I love to see how young people grow up.

For their debut season, the EF-Oatly-Cannondale team will win 2024 with 14 road victories, including Faulkner and Jackson at Vuelta a EspaƱa, Clara Edmund at Giro d'Italia women's, Nina Berton, Henrietta Christie, Alex Volstad and Babette van der Wolf at next year's new line-up. The balance of Dar is all under the age of 23. Christie has spent the past 3 seasons healthy with human power at the level of the World Tour, and in 2023 he was ranked 7th overall on the tour down under. Borstad is the youngest at just 18 years old, and the Canadian won both Junior Critical and road race titles last year. Both Burton and van der Wolf are versatile riders with one-day racing experience.

They will join a strong group of returning young people who had a breakout season last year - New Zealand time Trial champion Kim Caddo Elephant, Tour de Feminine Stage winner Mille Naben (riding for AG Insurance-Soudal NXTG), Swiss Roald Dahl (riding for AG Insurance-Soudal NXTG). In the second round of the tournament, the champion Noemi Leuegg and Magdelene Valieres won the Trofeo Palma Femina. In addition to the national title, Kadozou won the GC at the Trofeoponente in Rosa, and Lejegg won the 2024 European season opener at the Trofeoferanitx Cornia.

"We have a really solid group for all kinds of parcours. We are very balanced and we have more depth than 2024," Trompe l'oeil said. "We want to do better in the classic, so that's our goal for next year and this is what we've also looked for in terms of riders

" "We want to build a team,""I want to build a stronger, more balanced team that will do more in the finale of all kinds of races."" It is a system. If it's a climbing race or a classic race or a sprint race, I'd like to be there more. That's what we were looking for in this 2025 team. Our depth is our strength."

To close the roster, including Leticia Borges, who was one of the team's most consistent performers in the top 19 of last season's 1 2024, May Edmund, who had his first career victory last season and won 47km in the Giro 4. Megan Armitage, Veronica Ewards, Lotta Hentara and Nina Kessler will also be back.

Departing from the team are Coryn Labecki and Elizabeth Stannard, who retired this year, Clara Koppenburg, who moved to Cofidis, and USA 2023U23 road champion Natalie Quinn, who plans to sign a new team later this month.

"I love seeing how young people grow up. I think they will step up really soon because they have a really good example. They have an Olympic champion in their team, they have a grand Tour stage winner in their team. We are a team that really wants to race for each other," added Tromp.
