Officina Battaglin Offers Free Italian Dream Bike Book

Italian bicycle brand Officina Battaglin is offering a free copy of its excellent book, Here's My Dream Bike.

As a special bonus, Officina Battaglin is also offering a print copy of the magazine Uomini d'Acciaio (Men of Steel), which tells the story of Giovanni Battaglin's Giro d'Italia win just days after he won the 1981 Vuelta a EspaƱa Present.

Officina Battaglin was founded by Giovanni Battaglin and his son Alex to build custom frames for their customers. 45 custom Officina Battaglin bikes are featured in Here's My Dream Bike, and the story behind their creation is told. The story of their creation is told. It also reveals the secrets of Officine Bataglin's design and frame construction, as well as insights into the company's history and reputation.

The book's offer was first advertised on the Officine Bataglin mailing list, and the response was so great that the Italian brand was forced to reprint the book.

"We put the book together to give a unique insight into the process of building custom Italian steel bikes," explained Alex Battaglin.

"We planned to sell it on our website for 15 euros. But since many cyclists and Battaglin fans are forced to stay indoors, we thought it would be better to offer the book for free and only charge for shipping"

"When we put the book on the list, we were overwhelmed with requests from all over the world; in seven days we shipped over 400 copies worldwide. We had to print another run to get enough copies

The book is now back in stock, but the free offer is limited to 500 copies. Once the stock runs out, the price will increase to 34 euros, including worldwide shipping.
