Lance Armstrong has been permanently banned from cycling, a sport that once dominated the sport, but he still appears on sports programming in the latest installment of ESPN's "30 for 30" documentary series, which focuses on the Texan's rise and fall from grace.
The sports channel has released a trailer for the documentary, which will air this month on May 24 at 9 p.m. ET.
The trailer features Armstrong and former teammate George Hincapie ("I told Lance to come out and say, this is real now") and former head of USA Cycling Derek Bouchard-Hall ("All the praise we gave him was deserved. It's not easy to win seven Tour de Frances. It's very difficult."); ESPN journalist Bonnie Ford ("No matter what Lance does or says, I'm naturally skeptical.")
This episode will delve into Armstrong's deception in using performance enhancing substances to win the Tour de France seven times.
"I'm not going to lie," Armstrong says.
