Cycling Monopoly Board Game Launched in Belgium

A cycling version of the popular Monopoly board game is now available in Belgium. The famous climbs of the spring classic have been replaced by the most valuable streets on the world-famous square board.

"Monopoly Coors Course" is a limited edition of only 2000 pieces, priced at €50. The game is in both French and Dutch, and the 22 stops on the square board, including Park Lane, Old Kent Road, Boardwalk, and Kentucky Avenue, are the same as those on the Mieul van Geraardsbergen Flanderskrimme and the Paris-Roubaix Carrefour de l'Arbre section will be replaced.

Online voting will determine the most expensive location on the board, with voters choosing among Koppenberg, Mühl, Roubaix Velodrome, Paterberg, Cauberg, Cote de la Redoute, Oude Quaremont, and Milan-San Remo Poggio. Votes arewww.monopolykoers.beのウェブサイトで5月29日まで受け付けている。

"This Monopoly edition invites you to all the beauty that spring lace has to offer," the creators of the Belgian Monopoly claim on their website.

"Think of the legendary duel at La Redoute, the march at Mulle, the punk at Carrefour de l'Arbre. Visit Quaremont, spin on the Roubaix velodrome, climb the Poggio, and profit!"

Philippe Gilbert and Remco Evenepoel graced the cover of the box and helped promote the board game via video link at the official launch at the Sven Nys Cycling Center in Barenberg.

"In the super nice box, I am running on the Mühl, which is a historic place in the racing world and one of my favorite climbs, but I still choose the Cauberg, which brought me a lot of success in the Amstel Gold Race and the 2012 World Championships," Gilbert said in choosing his favorite He said in choosing the climb.

Evenpoel chose La Redoute from the Liege-Bastogne-Liege finale.

"It was hard to choose, but in the end I chose from the Ardennes, which I love during training and during the race," Evenpoel said.

"Along with Stockeu, La Redoute is one of my favorite classic race gems: Liège-Bastogne-Liège. Unfortunately, I will not be able to test my legs this season. But I hope to go often in the future."
