Het Hagelah Dwars is rescheduled for August 15.

According to Wielerflits.nl, the Pro Series race Dwars door het Hageland has been rescheduled for Saturday, August 15. Originally scheduled for June 17, the race had been postponed due to a coronavirus outbreak.

The new date falls on a weekend that has become available on the UCI's revised 2020 road calendar due to the cancellation of the RideLondon Surrey Classic, which was scheduled to take place on August 16, and the Prudential RideLondon Classic for Women, which will be held on August 15.

The Dwar Door Het Hagelan is part of the Bingoal Cycling Cup and was won by Fabio Jacobsen of Deceuninck-Quick Step at this year's GP Monsere. Other races in the series include the Circuit de Wallonie, GP Marcel Kindt, Halle Ingouyhem, Schaal Sels, Campioenschap van Fraunderen, and Memorial Rik van Steenbergen, all of which have been canceled or postponed

The organizers of the festival are.

Organizer Nick Nuyens wants to combine the Doir Door Het Hagelang, Char Sells, Campioenschap van Fullernderen, and Memorial Rik van Steenbergen into a stage race, and earlier this month he told Sporza earlier this month, telling Sporza that it would be possible to organize all four races at the national level.

He wanted to provide a platform for Pro Continental and Continental teams to race as the UCI first tries to fill its calendar with World Tours and Pro Series. These plans do not appear to include the Bingoal Series' only 1.Pro event.

The change to August 15 made this the first race of the Belgian Pro Series.

Kenneth Van Bilsen (Cofidis) won last season. Past winners include Mathieu Van der Pol, Christo Neylans, and Niki Terpstra.
