[14"Our partnership with Ettal has done everything possible to make this camp possible. The conditions are perfect, both in the highlands and in the valley. This allows us to provide a tailored program for the athletes and we will all be back to top form in August."
[18The team has many COVID-19 measures in place for the camp, which offers a wealth of climbing, including the Timeljoch, the Rettenbachferner, and the Ettal Glacier Road.
Team doctor Jan-Niklas Droste has reviewed safety measures, including hygiene and rules of conduct, and the UCI is also working with team doctors to identify COVID-19 infected individuals and conduct supplementary medical checks before the athletes begin group training. Medical protocols are being worked on.
"As a team, our goal, even before the Corona crisis, has been to provide a responsible and sustainable approach to health care for our riders and staff. The Corona pandemic has presented us with new challenges, but it does not call these values into question."
"Rather, we are expanding these values through new concepts that we have introduced to adapt to new situations. The basis of these concepts is the prevention of infection through hygiene and behavioral regulations, close control of work processes and contacts, and clearly regulated medical measures such as the COVID-19 test.
