Zwift on World Bike Day with Froome, Diegele, and Kampenaerts

Chris Froome (Team Ineos), Chloe Dejerre (Showair Twenty20), NTT Pro Cycling's Victor Kampenaerts, and mountain bike star Jolanda Neff (Trek Factory Racing) will lead separate rides on the UN World Bike Day on Wednesday, June 3," and will lead separate rides on the virtual platform Zwift.

The cycling stars want to encourage as many people as possible to ride stationary bikes and encourage riders to donate to World Bicycle Relief, which provides bicycles as reliable transportation for health workers in rural Africa

Zwicky, a local bike shop, is also looking to donate to the charity.

Zwift's schedule begins Wednesday at 9 a.m. Central European Time (CET) with a ride with time trial specialist and hour record holder Kampenaerts on a relatively flat 8.8 km section of the Innsbruck 2018 World Championships course, and ends at European time at noon, followed by a 7.9km off-road ride on the jungle circuit of Zwift's virtual world of Watopia with 2017 Cross Country World Champion Neff.

At 6 p.m. CET, four-time Tour de France winner Froome will lead a 16.3-km long ride on the Richmond 2015 World Championship route.

At 9 p.m. CET, time trial world champion Dygert will lead a 16.3-km ride with 240 meters of climbing on the Yorkshire 2019 World Championships course.

You can participate in one ride with the pros, limit yourself to two or three, or ride all four, or register on Zwift for the ride you choose and you can read more about the ride and each athlete participating.
