British eyewear brand SunGod has released its Pace series of performance cycling glasses, Vulcans and Velans, available in half and full frames that can be customized at no extra charge.

The Vulcans feature larger cylindrical lenses for a wider field of vision on the road or trail, while the Velans have smaller toric lenses that provide optical precision for finding obstacles on the road. Both models feature a new 8KO lens with three layers of scratch-resistant coating and a hydrophobic/oil-repellent finish to resist moisture, dirt, and fingerprints.

The Pace series also offers Saint-God's new photochromic 8KO Iris lenses that can adapt to changeable light conditions, and the lenses are available in "light smoke to dark smoke" or "clear to smoke with contrast-enhancing blue mirror" Variations include.

SunGod offers the option to convert Vulcans and Velans between half and full frames (conversion kit sold separately) as well as the option to completely customize the sunglasses at the time of purchase.

The modular design of the Pace series allows customers to create eyewear in their own color scheme to match their style and kit or to stand out in a crowd. Each modular component of the sunglasses comes in 10 lens colors plus eight color options, for a total of more than 4,000 possible combinations.

Velans retails for £115 and Vulcans for £125 for a half frame. Both will add £25 for the full-frame version. Half-frame to full-frame kits cost £45 and full-frame to half-frame kits cost £20.
