CCC-Liv has announced that the racing season will resume with three one-day races in Spain from July 23-26: Emmacmén Nafarloa Classicoa, Clasica Femenina Navarra, and Durango Durango COVID-19 Corona While regulations surrounding the virus are being eased in many countries, high-profile athletes such as Marianne Vos are currently training at high altitude for the end-of-season Women's World Tour calendar, which resumes on August 1 in Strade Bianche. In any case, the updated calendar allows for careful scheduling and goal-setting, which is important for top athletes"

"It is good to see a clear view of the races. Starting with a beautiful race in Spain, we are preparing for the first big race of the World Tour in August. After that, the stage races will begin in September, followed by the highlight of the spring classics season in October.
The UCI released its revised late-season calendar in May, and despite the subsequent cancellation of three races, the Women's World Tour retained 15 of its original 22 events. four stage races and 11 one-day races between August 1 and November 8. CCC-Liv has hired Lars Boom as performance manager to ensure success at the inaugural Paris-Roubaix event.
"The season is short and compact, but our ambition remains the same. We will strive to get noticed and perform well in each race," said Brylevens. 'But you never know what will happen in some races. [For example, Giro Rosa: Ashley Moolman-Pasio and Marianne Vos are traditionally strong races, but the exact course is still unknown. Races like Paris-Roubaix are very specific and new to our peloton, so we don't know yet what will happen. With the experience of our performance manager Lars Boom, we will try to at least maximize our efforts."
In addition to Voss and Mourman Pasio, CCC-Liv is Sofia Bertizzolo, Valerie DeMay, Marta Jaskulska, Jeanne Kolevar, Evi Kuipers, Marta Raha, Lienne Marx, Aurella Nerlo, and Soraya Paladin, Pauliena Royackers, Agnieszka Skalniak, Sabrina Stultins, and Inge van der Heyden will make up the 15 players. Brylevens said that the goal is to give everyone a chance to race in the tight three-month schedule.
"In CCC-Liv we have the luxury of having a large, quality group, and in CCC-Liv we have a large, quality group. The riders are very well matched, and it's very hard to do the program. We have decided in advance that we want to give everyone as many opportunities as possible in the remaining races. He also made it clear that he wants to show fighting spirit in each race.
"Sometimes we have to make choices that are not ideal for everyone. But you can't have 10 strong riders and expect to compete in the classics or stage races." Fortunately, everyone in the team understands the situation and the difficulties we have faced."
"We are very grateful for the support we have received.
As public health and travel restrictions have begun to ease across Europe, some riders are taking advantage of the weeks leading up to the start of the race to train at altitude. Team manager Eric van den Boom said in a press release that Vos and Paladin are currently training at altitude, while Mourman Pasio, who has been competitive in virtual races in recent months, is using a low-oxygen altitude tent at his home in Girona.
"I keep in close contact with the staff and let the athletes have a free approach. We have monitored their health every day since March," Van den Boom said.
He also addressed the questions surrounding the coronavirus and its impact on sponsors in the cycling community, including their title sponsor, CCC, which has announced that it will no longer sponsor the men's WorldTour team at the end of this year. CCC-Liv stated that all sponsors are fulfilling their contractual obligations and that the team is committed to continuing to compete at the top level.
"The business community has been hit hard all over the place," Van de Boom said. 'The coronavirus has unfortunately affected our main sponsor, the CCC, as well. Any cycling fan might have heard about it. We are often asked what the sponsorship situation will be like next year. We would like nothing more than to be specific, but cannot at this time.
"We are looking at a number of different scenarios and we see development moving in the right direction. The starting point for all of these scenarios is that we can maintain a high level of ambition over the next few years."
