Chris Froome Transfer Latest News and Possible 2021 Transfer - Podcast

Cycling news this week was dominated by one topic: Chris Froome's move to Israel. Four-time Tour de France winner Chris Froome will end his long career with Team Ineos this year and make his first move to a new country since 2010, but there are a number of important questions that must be answered by the end of the year.

The most pertinent and most difficult is whether Dave Brailsford will choose Froome for this year's Tour de France, or whether Ineos will abandon his oldest leader in favor of Egan Bernal and Geraint Thomas. with Cyclingnews' Daniel Benson Procycling's Ed Pickering take on the biggest questions ahead of the Tour.

They also look ahead to 2021, whether a move to the emerging Israeli country will bear fruit, and who the team will need to sign to help Froome win his fifth Tour title.

This week's episode, brought to you by Sportful and Pinarello, is not all about Froome. Also check out Jumbo Visma's Wout Van Aert, who is in training camp before the Tour. We talk to the Belgian about the Tour, cyclocross, and of course, Froome.
