Following the news that Team Ineos will be renamed for the Tour de France, Pinarello has unveiled an all-new color scheme to adorn the team's Dogma F12 and F12 X-Light road bikes.
The team's newly named "Ineos Grenadiers" bikes are red and blue, with the team's temporary name on the top tube and seat tube.
The renaming was done to promote the new Grenadier, a 4x4 SUV to be released by Ineos Automotive Limited, founded by Team Ineos' billionaire owner, Jim Ratcliffe.
Pinarello has also teased new colors for the disc-brake version of the bike, and sources inside the team say that the riders' bikes will be equipped with Shimano Dura-Ace rim brake groupsets, plus MOST finishing components, Continental tires, Fizik s saddles, and Garmin cycling computers.
The bikes will be equipped with Shimano Dura-Ace tubular wheels, but teams have been known to switch to lightweight Meilenstein-Obermeyer wheels to reduce bike weight to the UCI weight limit of 6.8 kg for the mountain stages, and recently witnessed at the Criterium du Dauphiné in Egan Bernal.
However, Pinarello is not the only sponsor of Ineos Grenadier to offer the new livery. As seen on a recent training ride, the team is wearing a similarly designed kit from clothing sponsor Castelli, as well as a road helmet from Casque finished in the same red and blue.
From the gallery above, one can see the new red and blue livery of the Dave Brailsford-led team, which will be without Chris Froome and Geraint Thomas.
