Wilco Kelderman has signed a two-year contract with Bora Hansløge. The Dutchman joins the team after spending the past four years at Sunweb.

The 29-year-old was told early in the season that his current team would not offer him a new contract and was rumored to want to return to Jumbo Visma, but Bora-Hanslooge has decided to move on and sees Kelderman as an integral part of their future Grand Tour plans.

He finished fourth at the Vuelta a España in 2017 and seventh at the Giro d'Italia in 2014, but injuries have set him back in recent years.

"I am really looking forward to this new challenge," Kelderman said in a press release issued by his future team.

"After the first few meetings with the coaches and management team, it became clear that this was exactly the right step for me.
