Hi-Tech Products renews core membership for 2021

Hitech Products announced Wednesday that it has renewed the contracts of five key players for the 2021 season, while acquiring four new talents.

The contract renewals include Norwegians Ingvild Gaskjen, Pernille Feldman, Amalie Lutro, and Silje Mathiesen, while the team also re-signed German time trial specialist Mieke Krager.

"We are thrilled to keep Ingvild, Pernille, Amalie, Silje, and Mieke on the team," team manager Carl Lima said in a press statement. [We see a lot of potential in the Norwegian talent and are excited about what the future holds for themselves and the team. In addition to that, Mieke brings experience to our young team.

The team has offered new contracts to Norwegian riders Martine Göth, Anne Helen Olsen, and Anne Dorte Island, and Swedish rider Caroline Andersson.

"In 2021, we will have a much renewed team with an emphasis on talent development. By giving these riders the opportunity to race at both the 1.1 and 2.2 levels of UCI racing and at the World Tour level, we are confident that they will be able to develop their potential. All of this is based on the important desire to do this as a team."

Hitech Products will part ways with several players who were on this year's roster, including Vita Heine, Ingrid Lorvik, and Greta Richaud. Also, Lucie van der Haar, Marta Tagliaferro, Natalie Midsveen, and Julie Meyer Solvang retired mid-season.

"Team Hi-Tech Products would like to thank them for their great team spirit and contribution to a good performance and wish them all the best for the future," said a team statement.
