Stefan Kühn (Groupama-FDJ) won the Swiss Road Race Championships for the first time in his career on the hilly course in Melville on Saturday, October 31. The championship was rescheduled due to a coronavirus outbreak.
Cung won the Swiss time trial title for the third time in July in Belp, the European title in August in Plouët, and the bronze medal in the UCI Road World Championship time trial in September.
The 26-year-old Elise won the 175.1km championship race solo, beating Danilo Wyss (NTT Pro Cycling) and Simon Peraud (Androni Giocattoli) by about 5 minutes.
Elise Chaby of the now defunct Equipe Poleca won the road title, defeating Linda Indergand and Lara Kraehemann in the 82.4 km elite women's race.
