Allison Jackson Completes 2021 Rib Racing Roster

CCC-Liv's women's program will continue in 2021 as Liv Racing, and Canadian Allison Jackson will be the final contracted rider on the 10-person team without Marianne Vos, who will lead the new Jumbo-Visma women's team.

Jackson, 31, is an aggressive rider with a powerful sprint, and during her year with Team Sunweb, she won a stage at the 2019 Women's Tour of Scotland and finished second overall. 2016 Trophée d'Or and Tour Ciclis She won a stage at the Tour Feminine International de l'Ardèche and was a team time trial winner at the Amgen Tour of California as part of Team Twenty16.

"I look forward to bringing my serious goals and playful spirit to bike racing with Rib Racing in 2021," Jackson said in the team announcement.

"The appeal of the team has always been the tactics and racing style. I also like how the team functions like a family and how easy it is to discuss future plans together."

"I am looking forward to working with the team to help them achieve their goals.

Liv Racing has replaced sport director Jeroen Brilevens with technical advisor Lars Boom.

"We have chosen a new momentum with Lars. But to be fair, this was not an easy decision," said team manager Eric van den Boom.

"Jeroen has been on our team for nine years. In that time, as a professional and race tactician, he has meant a lot to the professionalization of our team and women's cycling in general. He has contributed greatly to helping our talented athletes reach the top international step"

.

While it is difficult to fill the void left by talented riders like Marianne Vos, Boom cited Belgian double crown winner Lotte Kopecky as the team's top rider.

"Next season we will renew our group with many potential riders. In Lotte Kopecký we have a top sprint rider. She will have the support of her team, but nothing can stop the others from taking the next step to the absolute top."

"The current selection offers enough scope and opportunity for talented riders to seize the opportunity. Overall, we want to show an aggressive side."

The Liv Racing team hopes to be one of the top world teams in 2021, Van den Boom said.

"Thanks to Liv, the bike manufacturer, the team and organization are rock solid. We guarantee a top professional sport atmosphere where the best riders in the world can aim for the best possible. We are committed to winning and at the same time to further nurturing talent," said van den Boom.

Liv Racing in 2021: Sofia Bertizzolo, Valerie Demy, Allison Jackson, Marta Jaskulska, Lotte Kopecky, Jeanne Kolevar, Evi Kuipers, Soraya Paladin, Pauliena Reuhackers, Sabrina Stultins.
