"These three signings will continue to add depth and strength to our squad and ultimately provide important support to our aspirations for the upcoming season," sporting director Lars Mikkelsen said in a team press release.

Hansen continues to balance road and track, joining Cubeca Assos from Alpecin Phoenix, where he spent the past two seasons. Hansen's previous road wins include a stage at the 2018 Herald Sun Tour, two stages at the 2018 and 2019 Postnord-Dammermark-Lundt, and a stage at the 2015 Tour of Alberta.

On the track, the Danish rider won gold in the men's omnium at the 2012 Olympics and bronze in the team pursuit and omnium at the 2016 Olympics; in 2019, Hansen will compete with compatriot Michal Molkov (Deceuninck- QuickStep) and was a member of the Danish Team Pursuit team that won the European title as Madison European Champions.

This year he was part of the Danish team that won the Team Pursuit at the World Championships in Berlin, Germany, setting a world record in the process and becoming world champion in Madison with Morkov. In 2021, Hansen will team up with Morkov again in Madison for the postponed Tokyo Olympics.

"I am thrilled to be joining the team and am really looking forward to the new season," Hansen said. And to have the opportunity to represent my country and the team at the Tokyo Olympics will be very special. Perucki joins the team from Bardiani-CSF, whose career includes stage wins at the Tour of Poland, Tirreno-Adriatico, and Tour de Langkawi.

"The Team Cubeca Assos project is something I believe in strongly and it's great to join the team for the upcoming season.

"I've known Giacomo since we were kids and I can't wait to work with not only a good friend, but one of the best riders out there. He did pretty well in 2020 before an injury interrupted his career, so I hope to contribute to even greater success next season."

Janse van Rensburg is the longest serving rider on the team, having joined in 2010 under the name MTN Energade and spending just two seasons with Giant-Shimano: MTN Qhubeka, Team Dimension Data, and this year NTT Pro Cycling, he has been a valuable asset to the team.

He was South African national champion on the road in 2017 and won the Tour de Langkawi in 2016, as well as stage wins at the Volta a Portugal and Herald Sun Tour. He has competed in the Tour de France five times and is aiming to compete for a sixth time in 2021.

"I am very happy to continue my journey with the team. I have spent most of my career with the team and have participated in different chapters of the journey. I am excited to write another chapter as Team Koubeka Asos," said Janse van Rensburg.

"It is also sobering to be representing the Qhubeka charity, which is also our team title. As a South African, the great purpose of our ride is special to me and my family, and it is a great honor to reiterate the message that the power of the bicycle can mobilize people."
