Paris-Roubaix Winner Peter Sagan's S-Works Roubaix Stolen from Specialized Headquarters

Specialized had $160,000 worth of employee and historic bikes stolen from its Morgan Hill, California headquarters on Saturday, according to CyclingTips (opens in new tab). Among the 16 bikes stolen from the in-house museum was Peter Sagan's Paris-Roubaix-winning S-Works Roubaix.

Sagan won the 2018 edition of Paris-Roubaix, attacking alone with 54 km remaining in the race and beating Sylvain Dirier in a two-up sprint on the Roubaix velodrome.

He won the race in a gold and black "Sagan Collection" finish Specialized S-Works Roubaix, inspired by Sagan's love of muscle cars and Americana fashion.

Also among the stolen bikes were a custom-painted S-Works Venge that Sagan rode in the 2019 Tour de France and a yellow-painted S-Works Tarmac that Fabian Cancellara rode in the 2010 Tour de France The team also included the yellow-painted S-Works Venge

The S-Works Shiv, ridden by Tony Martin, silver medalist at the 2012 London Olympics, and the S-Works Epic, ridden by Jaroslav Kulhavy, gold medalist in London, were also stolen, along with Ned Overend's national championship winning S-Works Fatboy was stolen, along with the S-Works Fatboy, which won the national championships in London.

In addition, prototype and employee-owned bikes were stolen, including two stamped jumpers privately owned by company owner Mike Sinyard.

Morgan Hill police confirmed that two vehicles were used in a burglary that occurred during the day on Saturday, December 12. The vehicles used were a maroon Toyota 4Runner, which was later found unattended in Salinas, California, and a white box van carrying a stolen motorcycle, which is still unresolved.

Specialized is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators of the robbery and/or the return of all stolen bikes.
