Intermarque Wantigover, the newest team on the World Tour, has unveiled its 2021 kit in the same livery as it moves up from a professional team to a top team this season.
The Belgian team took over the CCC holding company Continuum Sports in late September after the Polish team was dissolved due to the financial situation of its sponsor, with French supermarket chain Intermarche joining as the main co-sponsor and will enjoy its first season at the World Tour level this year.
"The design of the new kit for 2021 is a success. The jersey has been transformed simply by the addition of the Intermarche to the bib shorts. Just the addition of the Intermarche to the bib shorts has transformed the jersey. The designers managed to display all of our loyal sponsors on the Santik kit.
"It's great to work with a technical partner on a long-term basis that listens to our needs and grows with our team. On the technical side, thanks to the continuous development of Santik's wear, the wear continues to evolve year after year."
Intermarche's red and black color scheme has not affected the familiar white, lime green, and dark blue team colors. Instead, the brand's logo sits neatly in the position of last season's casino company Circus logo.
The kit, manufactured by Chinese brand Santik, is placed under the intermarche by construction company Wanty and construction materials provider Gobert.
Technical consultancy provider Tormans, the cyclo-cross team's main sponsor, has moved to the shoulders, while bicycle provider Cube, French winemaker Ruffus, and Walloon brewery Biere des Amis are also in the kit.
The team's other names include Giro d'Italia and Vuelta a España stage winner Rein Taaramãe, South African climber Louis Meintjes, and the former CCC trio of Jan Hirt, Georg Zimmerman, and Jonas Koch.
Other major names on the team include veteran Jan Bakelants, who won a Tour de France stage to Ajaccio in 2013, and sprinter Danny Van Poppel, who won a stage of the Vuelta in 2015; both are headed to 2020. They move from Sunweb and Jumbo Visma and will remain with the team for a second year.
