The Vuelta a San Juan has announced the list of teams participating in next year's 39th edition of the Argentine stage race.
The race, which was not held this year due to the COVID-19 epidemic, held a gala presentation on Thursday with special guest Peter Sagan to finalize the starting team lineup for the 2022 event, which will run from January 30 to February 6. With the cancellation of the Tour Down Under and Tour Colombia, teams are hoping to open the 2022 season in South America.
Two years after Remco Evenpole's overall victory, Quick Step Alfavinir leads the list, with Trek Segafredo, Bora Hansgrohe, Cofidis, Lot Soudal, Movistar, and Israel Startup Nation also joining past to the race.
