Brenauer, Archibald Named to 2022 Serratigit WNT Registry

Serratigit-WNT Pro Cycling began as an amateur team in England in 2014 and later moved to Kempten, Germany. Its international history is reflected in the composition of its newly completed roster of 16 riders from nine countries.

This week, representatives from Italy, Germany, Sweden, Poland, Austria, Mexico, and Spain will gather in Tuscany for pre-season training, bike fitting, photo shoots, and team bonding. [Among them will be scratch racing world champion Martina Fidanza and Madison Olympic champion Katie Archibald.

"I am proud to be a part of the Serratigit-WNT team for the next two seasons," Fidanza said. 'I am confident that I will be able to gain experience and improve even more as I pursue my goal of truck racing and my big dream, Paris 2024.'

Archibald also has her sights set on gold medals at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, the 2023 Glasgow World Championships, and the 2024 Paris Olympics, with her goals focused primarily on track events. Ceratizit-WNT will be joined by Hanna Nilsson and Clea Seidel's cyclocross and gravel racing ambitions will also be supported.

While these newcomers make up the bulk of the team, seven core riders will remain from the 2021 season. Lisa Brennauer, winner of Olympic, World, and European Championships, after a brilliant season in which she finished second in the Tour of Flanders and Healthy Aging Tour, won gold in the women's team pursuit at the Tokyo Olympics, and became the German national road race champion She continues to be a key player on the team.

Like Brenauer, Lara Vicelli, Laura Ascencio, and Franziska Brause return for their fourth season with the team, while Lynn Teutenberg enters her fifth season with the Selatsit WNT. Maria Giulia Confalonieri and former Polish road race representative Marta Lach will also continue with the team.

Commenting on this mix of nationalities, goals, and experience, team manager Dirk Baldinger said, "We have created a strong mix of riders, from those starting their professional careers to those with extensive experience. We want to help our riders achieve that and ensure they are in the best possible environment."
