The International Cycling Union (UCI) has announced a similar palette of pink, peach, yellow, orange, and purple for 2022 for the three women's WorldTour teams, SD Walks, Human Powered Health, and the UAE team, and Andy Schleck (CP NVST-Imo Roche) forced him to change the color design of his jersey. [Recently, several 2022 jersey designs for the UCI Women's World Team and the UCI Women's Continental Team were announced. This is because our team is the only team that has not changed any jersey colors compared to the 2021 jerseys.
"Even though our team was the first of all UCI teams to adopt this design, the UCI rejected our jersey.
"In the end, our team also had to follow the UCI's instructions and as a result, our team will adopt the new jersey design for 2022. Tomorrow morning we will announce the new UCI approved jersey for 2022. I would like to thank all the sponsors who have provided additional funding for the team and I am proud that the team will come out of this situation stronger."
[6On Friday, the team unveiled a redesign of the jersey. The front and back panels are black, with purple and pink-to-orange fades on the sleeves and shoulders. The leg bands of the black shorts are followed by blue and pink rings.
"We are proud to announce our new team kit for 2022! said a team statement on Facebook.
"Together with our team sponsor and our clothing supplier CCN Sport Benelux, who created a new design super fast after the jersey issue, we are proud to announce the new 2022 team jersey for our UCI Women's Continental Team. This jersey will be ready by our training camp in February. Thank you to all of our sponsors."
