Andy Schleck-CP NVST-Imo Roche sells banned jerseys

Andy Schleck-CP NVST-Immo Losch Women's Continental Team banned by UCI for being too similar to World Team SD Worx, UAE Team ADQ and Human Powered Health's pink, orange and yellow fade design 2022 kit for sale.

A post on the team's Facebook page (opens in new tab) lists the short-sleeved jersey at €35, the vest and long-sleeved jersey at €30, the skinsuit at €50, and the long-sleeved version at €75.

"Since the unauthorized kits are already in production, the team has decided to launch a sale to recoup some of the lost costs," the post states, explaining why the shorts are not listed.

"Some of the non-approved clothing will be used by riders for training purposes and the other portion is currently on sale."

The kit fades from purple to pink on one arm and pink to orange on the other and pink to purple on the torso faded, was very similar to the SD Worx one.

Human Powered Health faded from orange to purple from the neck down, while the UAE Team ADQ kit was a light version with a mix of purple and orange.

Andy Schleck-CP NVST-Inmo Roche said the UCI decision was unfair because their team used a similar design in 2021.

"Even though our team was the first of all UCI teams to use this design, the UCI unfairly left our team behind by denying us our jerseys, especially since all our kit was already finished," they wrote last week.

The team's new jersey kept the same color scheme on the shoulders, but replaced the torso with all-black panels with white lettering.

"We thank all the sponsors who provided additional funding for the team and are proud that the team came out of this stronger," they wrote in a statement.

The team is offering free shipping within Europe with the purchase of three items and worldwide with the purchase of four items. For purchase and shipping options, visit [email protected].
