FDJ Nouvelle Aquitaine's Futuroscope turns blue for 2022

FDJ Nouvelle Aquitaine Futuros has unveiled a new look for 2022, switching from a white look to a dark blue, red, and white kit.

The French team, now in its 17th year in the women's peloton, changed kit suppliers for the new year, bringing in Gobik, which ended its partnership with Poli.

A three-year contract with the Spanish brand has resulted in an updated kit design. The main color is dark blue, with white sleeves and a splash of red on the left shoulder.

Lead sponsor FDJ (French National Lottery) continues to be the main sponsor on the front of the jersey, and the logo of the Nouvelle Aquitaine region in southwestern France and the "Futuroscope" theme park also appear on the front. The logos of Gobic, bicycle supplier Lapierre, and component sponsor Shimano are also featured.

The kit was modeled by the team's star riders, Danish Cecilie Uttrup-Ludwig, former Italian road champion Marta Cavalli, and French road champion Evita Music. fdj women's team and men's As is tradition for the teams, the French national jersey is unsponsored, except for the Govic logo.

"We are entering a new phase in the history of the FDJ and we want to mark a new page in history with Gobic, especially in aerodynamics and performance, which have become increasingly important in recent years," said general manager Stephane Delcourt.

"Gobic's resources, know-how, and experience are very promising and we are very much looking forward to working together. The new design respects both our history and passion for the tricolor flag and our desire to be a reference team in terms of innovation, performance and image."
